Working principle
1. Feeding of large rolls of base paper
Feeding device: The large rolls of raw paper (usually large rolls of base paper) are fed into the slitting machine through the feeding system to ensure smooth feeding of the base paper.
Unwinding device: The base paper is unwound from the large rolls for subsequent slitting. The unwinding device is usually equipped with a tension control system to ensure uniform tension of the paper and avoid stretching or tearing of the paper.
2. Tension control
Tension control system: In order to ensure the quality of the paper during the slitting process, the tension control system will accurately adjust the tension of the base paper. This ensures that the paper will not wrinkle or break during cutting, and ensures that the slitting paper is neat and defect-free.
3. Slitting process
Knife slitting: The core part of the slitting machine is the slitting device, which is usually equipped with multiple blades or slitting knives. According to the set specifications, the blades will slit the large rolls of paper into sheets of different widths. These blades are usually rotating blades or fixed blades, which can accurately cut the paper into the required size as needed.
Adjustment function: During the slitting process, the operator can adjust the cutting width as needed. Modern slitting machines usually have an automatic adjustment function, which can automatically adjust the blade position according to the input parameters (such as paper width, length, etc.).
4. Winding device
Rewinding system: The slit paper is automatically rolled into small coils or rolls, and the winding device rewinds the slit paper. The winding process requires precise control of tension to avoid the paper being too loose or too tight to ensure the quality of the final product.
Rewinding and forming: The paper is rolled into a coil (or roll), and different inner diameter cores may be processed according to different needs.
5. Automatic detection and control system
Automated control system: Modern slitting machines are equipped with advanced automatic control systems, which can monitor the operating status of the machine in real time, such as cutting width, speed, tension, etc., and automatically adjust the working parameters according to the monitoring data. This can ensure the slitting process is efficient and accurate, and reduce human operation errors.
